Turf Zone – ShielBurnOne
I’ve had an idea, one that I’ve had and mentioned previously. With the start of new Round #170 yesterday and not having taken any zones yet – I let ChoccyMuffin take everything on our cycle/picnic to Rosewell yesterday – I’m at the start of a fresh start, so to speak. So, my idea is to start from the beginning as a Newbie, zero points, zero zones, zero medals, zero rank, zero nothing and a new turf name. Well, sort of a new turf name, PlanetGaryII. Let’s everyone know it’s still me and can follow what is going on.
And what is going on? Well, when I first started turfing it was a delight to take all those new zones, gain all those turf medals and turfing was fun back then. I want to try and get that old turfing magic back again. Of course, it will not be quite the same this time round with three years turf experience behind me but will at least be interesting to see how different it is this time. I plan to try this for at least the entire Round. After that I’m not sure yet. Time will tell.

Well, the deed is done. Turf app was deleted from the mobile phone and re-installed, this time with the new turf name. Then I nipped down to my nearest local zone, Pittendreich, and grabbed by first zone, 170 points and a whopping pph of 2 points. I’ll be out after coffee for more. Turfer PlanetGary is still there, dormant, I suppose, but my turf name from now on will be PlanetGaryII. Nothing will be lost to PlanetGary other than probably being relegated down to League 4 but I’m not bothered about that.
The main aim this Round is to see how many medals I can collect. I’ve only lost one day but no worries about that. Still another 27 days to go. Looking forward to that Ghost Minute, the Darkest Ninja and all the others. And not forgetting First To Takes and Turfer verses Turfer. Will need to extend into the next Round for the Trainer medal if I go for that. I’ll be posting regular turf blogs as usual. More later.
