There are a number of items on my turf to-do list. The one at the top is to make another attempt at the Edinburgh Seven Hills, this time on a bicycle, with the aim of bettering my time of 4 hours 13 minutes on the Swifty Air kick scooter. Next down the list is to make another attempt at the Eager Ferret, this time on the Harley Quinn single speed bike. And that’s what was on the cards early this morning.
And when I say early, I mean 5.00 am, essential to get a clear run without any dog walkers, horse riders, pram pushers and escapes children for getting in the way. I also wanted to create a video of the attempt using the GoPro Hero 10 Black. In addition, I found an app that allowed me to record the session off the turf app and add that to the final video. As for the time? Well, you’ll have to watch the video. Back soon.
